Photos from St Mary's Catholic Primary school's postYear 4 had a great time baking yesterday. We followed a recipe to make plain vanilla biscuits. We used techniques such as sieving, rolling and creaming sugar and butter together. Our next step will be to work in teams to adapt this recipe and try and tailor it to appeal to our target market: teachers! 4 Likes

🇫🇷 We have had a fantastic French afternoon at school. The children were in mixed aged groups and did a carousel of activities based on French language and culture, the activities included building Lego Eiffel towers, songs in French, learning about Matisse and recreating his famous work - The Snail 🐌, playing boules, learning about French speaking countries, Lotto with French numbers and some French geography. The children participated really well with great enthusiasm and interest. 7 Likes
